About me
Hi! My name is Serena, and I am a life coach and positive psychology practitioner.
Although I have only been working with children and young adults with neurodiverse abilities for a short time, I have been doing volunteering work in the same sector for almost 5 years. During my experience, I have supported people reach their full potential, change their habits and improve their emotional intelligence to be able to successfully understand their own feelings and interact and relate to people around them. I have worked with individuals in the autism spectrum, with ADHD, high anxiety, depression, Tourette’s syndrome and many others.
Something unique about me
Something unique about me is my exceptional ability to actively listen to what clients decide to share with me during the sessions. As a result, I am able to pay attention to the whole of what a client is communicating, and not just focus on their words. Another skill that I have is empathy, which allows me to truly understand what my client is going through and help them find a way to reach their life objectives.
I also love exploring people’s internal worlds and to do that, I usually ask clients to create their own metaphors that would, in turn, allow us to explore their inner feelings and what might unconsciously drive their different behaviours and attitudes.
Specialist areas and experience
The therapeutic approach I am trained in is called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which explores one’s negative automatic thoughts in order to help the client overcome them and realise that they do not correspond to reality.
During the sessions, I might use tools from solution-focused coaching and motivational interviewing to slightly challenge your thoughts and help you see situations from different perspectives.
I empower my clients to develop or improve their emotional intelligence to be aware of other people’s and one’s own emotions and feelings and then use those emotions to facilitate people’s thinking processes, learn how to manage them and transform them into actions.

My coaching philosophy
I believe that we are all different thus, I have been training in different coaching approaches to help you at the best of my ability by being able to resonate with your strengths and values.
The confidentiality of what the clients decide to share with me is one of my top priorities, no matter who approaches me or what the situation may be.
Choose me because
I love helping people flourish and achieve their full potential. As we all experience difficult situations, I believe we are able to overcome them by applying our inner strengths that we will discover together during the coaching sessions.
I will empower and guide you towards the achievement of your desired goal and you would also discover yourself, especially things that might have been in your ‘blind spot’ until now. It is essential you are ready to take action and make changes to achieve your ultimate goal.
